Chef Katherine See Embraces New Role as She Creates Pastries and Health-Conscious Menu Items for Au Bon Pain

Boston (January 16, 2015) — Au Bon Pain, the international café bakery and a leader in the fast casual restaurant category, announced today the hiring of Katherine See as corporate executive chef. Her responsibilities include providing strategic menu direction and innovation, research and development, and commercialization for all of Au Bon Pain’s menu categories.

"Au Bon Pain offers delicious fresh-baked pastries and bread, flavorful sandwiches, and health-minded items such as soups and salads, and I am excited to add to the menu and develop some seasonally focused menus."

See is a qualified creative culinary and product development director with more than 15 years of experience in restaurants, with a focus on seafood operations and food product innovation. She previously worked at Slade Gorton & Co. as director of product development/corporate executive chef and at Todd English Enterprises as director of culinary operations/executive chef. See studied food and environment at Tufts University and culinary arts at Boston University. She has appeared on Food Network’s "Best Thing I Ever Ate" and "The Dish" in addition to other television appearances.

Chef See is responsible for the food and beverage items on the everyday menu, developing improved menu items and continuing to produce seasonal menu changes six times per year.
